The South O'Brien Wolverines defeated Harris-Lake Park last night 3-1. Coach Amy Schmidt gave us a post-game interview as the Wolverines improve to 5-3 on the year, and remain towards the top of the War Eagle Conference standings.

It's Homecoming this week for the OABCIG Falcons. Coach Larry Allen and his team are 2-0 after a big win at Tri-Center last Friday night. This week, the Falcons host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley in week 3 of the high school football season.

MMCRU will take on Hinton tomorrow in Marcus for week 2 of the high school football season. Coach Colin Youde spoke with Caleb Claycamp on keys to the game tomorrow, as the Royals continue to hunt for their first win of the season. Following the game in Marcus, in partnership with the Cherokee County Suicide Prevention Coalition, there will be a Suicide Awareness walk at the football field.
