Coach Madison Glade and the Kingsley-Pierson volleyball team is are ready to begin their game schedule this year. Next Tuesday, the Panthers host Newell-Fonda for the first match-up of the season.

The Remsen St. Mary's Hawks football team will take on Ar-We-Va tonight in Remsen for their first game of the season. Coach Tim Osterman joins us and spoke about the week 0 matchup tonight between the Hawks and Rockets.

The Cherokee Braves volleyball team hosted their sports drink scrimmage last night. Several area schools came to sharpen their skills before the first official games of the season. The South O'Brien Wolverines volleyball team has had a good first week of practice. Coach Amy Schmidt is excited about the talent the Wolverines have on the roster this season. The girls have put in work over the summer and the Wolverines are off and running.

Remsen St. Mary's football coach, Tim Osterman, joins us today for local sports. A majority of the roster will return this season. With the addition of some players from Siouxland Christian, the Hawks are looking like they are ready to get their week zero match-up underway against Ar-We-Va next week.

John O'Connor sat down with Cherokee volleyball coach, Tara Lugar, and discussed the beginning of the season this year. The Braves are returning some very experienced talent on their roster this season. They will participate in a few scrimmages in the coming weeks, including one today in LeMars.

The South O'Brien Wolverines have kicked off another season on the football field. Coach Mark Fuhrman has a large group of underclassman that will carry the team, along with a few very experience upperclassman. A large portion of the boys team returns this season, while the program continues to work on it's numbers on the girls team.

Although a large number of seniors have graduated from that championship team last season, the Royals are returning some key experience at quarterback and have another nice core of upperclassman.
